Short biography
I graduated from the Faculty of Education, Hiroshima University in 1989. I was hired by the Kagawa Prefectural Board of Education that same year, and while serving there (until 1993) I completed the Doctoral Course in Behavioral Systems at the Graduate School of Human-Environment Studies, Kyushu University (PhD: human-environment studies). In October 2000 I became a Lecturer on medical and environmental studies at the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the School of Medicine, Yamaguchi University, then an Assistant Professor in the field of medical care and environmental studies in the System Control Medicine Department, Graduate School of Medicine, Yamaguchi University in February 2010, and an Assistant Professor at the Student Support Center, Organization for University Education, Yamaguchi University in April 2014, before becoming an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Global and Science Studies in April 2015, where I have been down to the present. My research themes include health and physical activity throughout women’s life stages.
