On Saturday, October 3, we held a commemorative ceremony for the establishment of the Faculty of Global and Science Studies.

At the ceremony, Director Himiya from the National University Corporation Support Division, Higher Education Bureau, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) offered the students some encouraging words on behalf of the guests regarding their coming student days and in regards to international study abroad in preparation for next year.

After the ceremony, five of the freshmen students who returned to Japan from the short-term language training in the Philippines gave presentations in English on the theme of “Living in a Global Society!” where they demonstrated the results of their training.
